Primitive kick it up a notch with their new collection of New Era caps for Spring/Summer 2009. The lineup features an excellent medley of color/textile choices including wool, felt, leather and suede. Amongst the classic two-tone selections are four new stand-out colorways featuring the boutique’s trademark stitched “P” logo and contrast New Era embroidery. All four are now available via Primitive.

Karmaloop continues their alliance with San Francisco-based Black Scale on a second collection made exclusively for the retailer. The lineup will feature Black Scale’s bread and butter graphics as well as an introduction into the Bad Karma t-shirt in both a v-neck and standard crew cut. Additional designs in the collection consist of the Vortex Visvion, The Dance, and Pentagonomics tee. The collection will see a release very soon on Karmaloop.com.

The LA brand has nicely developed the footwear side of their line over the past couple of seasons and presents for Summer 2009 three models in a multitude of colorways - the Johnson Low, Johnson Mid and the Valenzuela. All three models come in canvas this season, making it a great companion for the hotter days that lie ahead. The Johnson Low and Johnson Mid are our personal favorites, coming in some strong color combos, while keeping an overall simple and subtle look.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, BBC/Ice Cream presents this new all suede backpack. Classic design and premium suede upper are making this an overall nice piece. Rumors are the backpack goes for 600 USD in the US, which is too much for this piece for sure. It also comes in blue.

Six new Supreme Summer 2009 t-shirt designs will be released this week. Two of the t-shirt designs will feature the artwork of Pedro Bell.

Pedro Bell is an American artist/illustrator who is best known for his elaborate Funkadelic album cover designs such as One Nation Under a Groove, Cosmic Slop and Hardcore Jollies.

The Supreme Summer 2009 T-Shirts will be available tomorrow April 23rd in NY, LA and online and in Japan on April 25th.

Greedy Genius offer a preview into their upcoming style, the Ocean Runner. With the name surfing as a bit of a tip-off, the shoe takes on subtle nautical characteristics mostly in the form of re-appropriated boat shoe characteristics. The shoe features tonal nubuck uppers with external lacing details along the heel and side panels. The branding is kept to a minimum except for the tongue area. No word yet on an official release date.

Nike presents the new “Jackie Robinson” Blazer Hi pack. The pack consists of three Nike Blazer Hi’s, featuring tonal uppers and white soles. Nike Air Max 90’s have become a staple in the Nike footwear roster. Tinker Hatfield was the mastermind behind the air max concept which has spiraled into a viral shoe all across the world. In order to celebrate 20 years of Air Max 90 history, Nike has been working up special 90’s to represent a very special point in history.

There are only 3 pairs known to exist in the color way using Crocodile Skin. This pair is extremely rare and comes in a regular Nike box. This pair will not be sold to the general public and was a shoe given to friends and family of Nike representatives.

As usual the big players get to certain trends a little slower. Italian sunglass brand Super came out with the Wayfarer silhouette in tons of colors and afterwards Ray-Ban also decided to offer them. Many brands out there offer denim in a multitude of strong colors in the last couple of seasons and now Levi’s also decided to offer something similar. As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection they release the 501 Colored Pack.

Coming in overall 6 colorways, the denim features contrasting white stitching and comes nicely packaged in a paint bucket. Via Freshngood.

We presented to you the new Stussy x Gallerly 1950 rag mats the other day, here now a look at the complete line-up of the table rag mats. They come in three colorways and will be released on April 11th at Stussy Chapter Stores.

We already showed you the Stussy x John Pound t-shirts that were released this season. Now Stussy also published an interesting interview with the artist that is definitely worth checking out.

“If you were alive in the mid eighties, then you have probably seen John Pound’s work even if you don’t know his name. He’s the artist responsible for drawing the phenomenon that was Garbage Pail Kids. Released by the trading card company Topps in 1985, Garbage Pail Kids left a mark on many childhoods. For our Spring 2009 collection, we worked with John on a series of tee shirts, mixing his famous style with some of our iconic imagery.”

Rogue Status preview one of their upcoming projects with Alife. Using Alife’s very own Everybody Mid, the shoe’s distinct feature includes the well-known “Gun Show” all-over print pattern. Stay tuned for a release date.

From initial information it seems like this silhouette will be a Fall/Winter 2009 release, appropriately. Taking the well-received Spizike model, the Jordan Camp reworks this instant classic into a boot form for the harsh winter conditions. The kicks are fully equipped with an earth tone colorway and rugged materials including a hiking boot outsole. No more specific information has been disclosed, so stay tuned for further looks in the coming months.

KRINK teams up with ALIFE and Girl Skateboards to produce a new limited edition skate deck. The deck features KR’s trademark drip effect in a metallic silver finish with co-branding on the reverse side. Retailing for $60 USD, it is now available through Alifenyc.com.

World renowned fashion photographer Neil Bedford will present a series of works involving the BBC crew later this month. The event should house a number of interesting and behind the scenes look into the brand’s workings which involve a number of high-profile personalities. The Bape General did it once again, this time on one of the most mind-blowing oldtimers of all time - Nigo put his Bape camouflage pattern on the Mercedes 300SL, along with all sorts of other types of customization, such as a custom AMG engine, wheels and more. This is one of the most beautiful cars ever built, thus we are not so sure it really needs the Bape camo make-over, but at least Nigo can be sure it’s a unique piece. Previously Nigo had put the camouflage on a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
